Welcome to the website of Norwich’s Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form, the UK’s first specialist Science and Maths Sixth Form.

We are are delighted that the Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form will be based in the iconic old Fire Station on Bethel Street, in the very heart of Norwich’s City Centre! You can read more about our building- and see further artistic representations here The Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form, opening in September 2013, will offer a talent hotbed for students studying the sciences, maths, computing and technology. We will offer brilliant approaches to teaching and learning, together with extensive links to maths, science, engineering and technology in Universities and local workplaces. We aim to create outstanding minds. Taster Sessions-  Explore the real-world of Maths and Science with us We are pleased to offer Sir Isaac Newton students the opportunity to discuss the VIth Form with the Principal Dr Mark Evans and experience the way in which A Levels in Science and Maths can lead to exciting future careers. Our first event took place at the NEXUS Centre, with Sir Isaac Newton students exploring robotics, CAD and 3D printing methods. Read an account of the day here Other events that our students have already been able to take part in have included: May: A Computer Science evening. Our students found out about various degrees in computer science and programming, as well as the range of careers that can come from studying these areas. April: A ‘Psychology Day’ at the UEA. This included a lecture from one of the UEA's top academic psychology researchers and an investigation into the real-world of psychology. March:  A ‘Zoology Day’ that inform students  about future careers in veterinary science as well as exploring the benefits of studying for a degree in Zoology, Conservation and Environmental Science.We met the team at Banham Zoo, discussed the work that the team do- and met some of the animals.
